Artist News

Pole PolePIC has partnered with POPOF, which is located in the buffer zone of the Kahuzi-Biega National Park in the DRC. PIC purchases 95% of the gorilla carvings made by former poachers, and these men can now make more money carving than poaching bushmeat in the forest.

During the genocide, a primary school was completely destroyed. PIC committed the funds to rebuild the school, room by room, until it was complete. The last room was finished in 2007.
